Abstract
Purpose: This is suitability study of the level evaluation of proprioceptive sense about extraocular muscle with Maindot test.

Method: A mean age is 15.48(¡¾3.23), 14 persons(11 men, 8 women) with corrected visual acuity of 0.9 or higher and the normal binocular vision and control, and intermittent exotropia of 19 persons(11 men, 8 women) with the far and near deviation is 10PD(Prism Diopter) or more despite normal visual acuity and binocular vision, are evaluated by using Maindot test, training before and after, 6 and 12 months after training.

Result: The result of correlation analysis of Maindot test and subjective symptoms is that the high proprioceptive sense's ability is tended to decreasing subjective symptoms(diplopia)(p<0.001). The result of correlation analysis in objective refraction is that high binocular proprioceptive sense's ability is tend to deviation's decrease and PRC's increase(p<0.001).

Conclusions: Having been correlated the movements and subjective symptoms, Maindot test provide optometrists with useful information for check on successful vision training, prognosis and the predict subject symptoms.
